Welcome to the 14th Shard Final Fantasy XIV Free Company website. We strive to be the kindest Free Company on the data center Aether and the world Cactuar. Along with this website, we host a Discord server for our community.
Our Leadership
The FC Leaders and Officers (renamed High Exarch, Exarch, and Warden) roles exist to provide a democratic way for our FC to manage actions and vote on mission critical discussions. Specifically, they manage remedial actions, warnings, bank tabs, FC airship and submarine vessels, housing furniture, orchestrion rolls, etc. This is to prevent the abuse or misuse of any of the FC resources / services.
We do attempt to bring all other issues and changes within the FC to vote among members so that everyone has a say in the direction the FC takes (housing moves, new event types, etc.).
Activities and Content
As a Free Company, we engage in a number of activities and complete a great deal of content together. It’s our goal to provide a safe and fun environment for everyone to experience the game at their own speed / pace. This includes running daily roulettes, helping with main scenario quest dungeons and trials, running treasure hunt events, Wondrous Tails weekly completion runs, current normal tier weekly raid runs, and more.
Casual Static Raiding
We’ve opened our doors to casual savage raiding in FC approved and run statics. We’re always looking for more members to join our “casual statics” in clearing raids. We need you to help us fill these groups! If you’re interested in joining one of our statics, we’ll require that you complete the relevant striking dummy in game and submit proof of completion to our Discord server.
Note: During lock-out periods, we expect that these statics will be geared towards weekly loot and will be run in such a way that is fair to those making progress together. We ask that each static form a consistent schedule that works for their desire to participate and progress meaningfully on a weekly basis. We’ll do our best to cater to everyone’s needs and desires as far as schedules and appetite go.
Rules and Guidelines
We are a PG-14 free company and utilize the rules and guidelines set forth by Square Enix when managing the FC and interactions members have with each other in game and on other services like Discord. What you do on your own time outside of the services offered by the Free Company is up to you, and you are subject to the rules and guidelines set forth by Square Enix. However, if your external actions affect or are related to members within the Free Company (bashing on a Twitch.tv stream or some other public forum) we may additionally take remedial action. Separate to Square Enix, we take independent action as a Free Company regarding any rules that are broken. Please take care to read through the Rules & Guidelines page on this website.
